Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics at London. Additionally, she brought her bronze on balance beam. In 2012 she was the first American athlete to earn the most medals in the Olympics. She won the gold in the team event in the 2016 Olympics, which made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Additionally, she won silver in the individual all around event as well as for floor exercise. Between the two Olympics she took a break from gymnastics competition for three years. The gold medal she won for the American team also won two World Championships. At the age of 2 She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. As for the future, she is planning to create a profession from fashion. It is also her dream to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce the new novel she's working on, is due out sometime in the coming year.
